Social Media, Multitasking?

Ada berapa ya media sosial sekarang ini? Ratusan?

But it was overrated i think.

Jadi kangen jaman-jaman dulu, tahun 90an dan 2000an awal. Ketika handphone masih tergolong barang mewah. Kayaknya seru banget kalau kumpul-kumpul dan ngobrol bareng.. *menerawang*

How many social media exists rite now? Maybe more than hundreds.

The most popular of those are still Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Path I think. Most of you must be have an (or more) account in those social media, rite? So have I.

But few days (or weeks) later, I barely never touch most of those socmed. I once was very active in FB coz I didn’t have a Twitter account. So I made one and very active in Twitter. After that I made Path account, and I left Twitter in exchange with Path. Later, I almost left all of those socmed. And why is it? I left it coz I quite busy with this game :p. But in the other hand, I think I wouldn’t very active in all of those socmed in a row, if I wasn’t playing that game though. I think it would wasting my time for various update I should do like status, photos, or whatsoever. Meanwhile I still can do many things in real world. When I see one or many friends of mine that can do that, I can give nothing but salute!

Apart from its positive side, there are many negative effects in socmed as well. We’ll have more activities in the internet world beside the real world. Our attention are only focused to our gadget meanwhile we don’t give any attention to other people around us. It’s like “Make the Far One Closer, and the Close One Farther” hehe. I once saw some people were gathered in a place but that table was too silent. When I looked up they turns out was playing with their own gadget. Oh gosh. They lose the purpose of gathering itself. *sigh*

Another case, now almost every people who attached with their gadget always take a picture for the meal before they eat it. Secondly, they will upload and share it to socmed. And lastly they pray (if they remember). Haha.

Truth is, I once like them. Take a picture and whatsoever. But it was overrated I think.

I miss the time when gadget is still a luxury thing. I felt like I’ve got all the emotions when we gathered together *wondering*
